Ollie’s Run
The day dawned bright and sunny and it looked like it was going to be ideal for Ollie’s run after several days of very unpredictable weather. We met as arranged and Bill P offered to lead the run, pillions organized we said our goodbyes to Steve who was not well enough to join us for the ride but came to offer his support and off we set, straight into the biggest blackest cloud on the horizon!
Our route followed the cloud and its rain until we arrived at the pub soggy and cold! However we all enjoyed a hearty pub lunch and raised a glass to absent friends before setting off back home managing to avoid the rain most of the way! We will all be thinking of Ollie again as we clean the bikes! Debz
Weston Bike Nights 2012
The Weston Bike Nights resume on the beach lawns on May 3rd, from 6pm to 9pm.
It is our intention to have a MAG stand at this event as often as it is possible to do so, providing we have sufficient members on hand to man the stand, and providing the weather is reasonable. So if you’d like to lend a hand please contact our rep Debz.
AGC
It was good to see several Weston & North Somerset MAG members at the AGC in Oxfordshire despite the weather on the Saturday.
If you’ve never been to an AGC it’s worth the effort to go at least once to see how MAG is run democratically.
Demo Run
MAG are planning another Demo Run for the 24th June, as yet there are NO firm details as is in the planning stage, so watch out for details from MAG, and pencil that date in your diaries.
