Somerset Road Safety Motorcycle Forum
The Somerset Road Safety Partnership has now established a forum for motorcyclists to have their views represented on a range of issues includingroad safety, engineering, highway layout and parking.
The first forum meeting, held at Bridgwater Fire Station, was attended by representative from the emergency services, the County Council, training groups, local retailers and motorcycle interest groups. The forum set out its aims: to identify ways to improve safety for motorcyclists in Somerset and to improve facilities for motorcyclists.
The forum welcomes attendance and input form any and all riders: it doesn't matter whether you're on a scooter, a sportsbike, a custom or trike, the forum would like to hear your views and would appreciate your help trying to put things together.
