Weston & North Somerset MAG held its Annual Group Meeting at Cromwells on the 29th March.
Unfortunately nobody was willing to take on the roll of Rep, but three new faces were added to the Group Committee:
Events, Bill Pugsley,
Treasuerer, Bill Harding,
Clubs, Brian Weekes,
Political, George Legg (The Troll),
Officer’s without portfolio:Nigel Rose; Diane Poulson; Chris Tiney.
It was also agreed to adopt a Group Constitution.
It was also decided to approach Morses with a view to holding a MAG awareness day sometime during the summer. The meeting was observed by Regional Officer Aine Gale.
We have been contacted by Binzy Reynolds to see if we could supply six people to take on the security at the Cider Rally to be held at Kewstoke Holiday Village by the Bridgwater Chapter of Harley Owners Group over the May Day Weekend 28th April-May 1st. It would mean MAG would benefit by about £600. So are you all up for it?
The Troll is of the opinion that we should go for it.
We will be visited by Bristol MAG on May 10th, so The Troll has booked the skittle ally for that night, and Bill P is going to make up a small trophy, so Max turn out please.
Bristol MAG are also going to hold a MAG awareness day at Fowlers on the 6th May, so if you are passing pop in and say hello.
The Troll attends Bristol MAG committee meetings so as to liaise between the two groups and at the last meeting was approached by a Bristol MAG member with a view to holding a charity event in aide of a Biker (Mark Hedley who suffered crippling injuries in an accident on the Keynsham Bypass. He is now trying to raise funds for further specialist treatment in Portugal. What your thoughts on this? Please contact The Troll or your committee.
