We held our AGM at Cromwells on Wednesday 28th March where all the usual suspects were returned to office plus two new officers, Martyn Garrish as an Officer without portfolio and Christine Parker who volunteered to be our Secretary at meetings.
Welcome Martyn and Christine to the committee.
Due to our group having grown over the last couple of years it was decided to seek a new venue that will give us more room to hold our meetings.
To this end we will be checking out Claverham Village Hall, which our Rep has already investigated and come away with a favourable impression.
It was also decided to move our AGM to November, this is so that the treasurer can present his report to us, and then it can go to the Regional treasurer for the Regional AGM.
The next AGM will be on November 26th 2007.
It has been decided to run a monthly raffle to help boost funds for MAG and to help with running events.
It was also decided to do some weekend ride outs to some more distant places as well as some shorter evening rides, so watch this space. Thanks to Trace for coming down to observe our AGM on behalf of the Regional Committee. The Troll
Glos MAG are running a Rally in the Forest of Dean over the 6-8 April, so please come along and give your support. The Troll will be there on the Thursday to help set up, and then book everyone in. Info den.glosmag@blueyonder.co.uk
