As you are all aware Bill Pugsley stood down as our Rep at our AGM back in November. For this group to function to our full potential we really need someone to step up and take on the post of Group Rep.
So, will you all give this some thought and if you think you, or you know someone who could do the job, please come forward.
Apart from those of us who already serve on the committee, no one else came from Weston MAG, which was a pity.
Anyway our own Bill Pugsley has been elected to the post of Regional Liaison to the National Committee. Hope the N.C. don't drive you barmy Bill!
Bill informs me we have one band booked up for the rally in the form of Straightshooter.
So keep your ear to the ground for any suitable bands we could use.
It appears that the date for the Weston Beach Races this year will be the weekend of 11-12 October.
So pencil in that date for a spot of marshalling at the Secure Bike Park. This is a potentially big earner for MAG (weather permitting!) so please put your names down to help out.
It is Roger and Lyn's intention to repeat the very successful charity event held last year in aide of Weston Hospice. And they have asked Weston & North Somerset MAG if we would assist with the marshalling as we did last year.
This years event is to be held on the 20 April. There will be a ride through of the route on the 19 April, for the benefit of those marshals taking part.
So could we please have a maximum turn out please?
