Well here we are at the beginning of another year, with plenty to look forward to. We have a newish committee, and events are beginning to come together.
Already the GWR is in the planning stages and members delegated (or volunteered) to various aspects of the Rally.
If any one has any skills we could use or know of any bands that would be suitable Please contact us. Also in the planning stage is the Weston-super-BikeFest and Fred's Run 2.
At the GWR2007 we donated the monies collected from the raffle to a charity. The money was used to help pay for two mobility scooters to be used by patients at the Weston Hospice.
Our Treasurer Keith went along to the handover and had his picture taken by the Clevedon Mercury, sat on one of the scooters.
We held our party on the 21st December at the Major from Glengarry in Weston-super-Mare.
Most of our regulars were able to make it, and it was good to see Chris at the party.
And a jolly good time was had by all.
