Due in no small part to a new member of your committee, we now have a rally site in Kingston Seymour, well done Dianne. Now we have to start the job of organising everything to fall into place ready for the rally (well that’s the theory!).
And those exceedingly good chaps up at Glos MAG have offered to advise us. We have had some good quotes for rally patches, we have a local brewer lined up for the ale, we still have to find a chuck wagon, bands and of coarse the ol’ portaloos.
The Troll, being the only one to stay sober over the weekend will be applying for the licence from North Somerset Council.
The Rally site is one that was used for the old GWR many moons ago, and mayhap the older MAG members may recall where it is?
So it’s all GO on the GWR rally Front, Oh, and we will need MARSHALs.

Sofa John and his minions put a lot of work into the evening for very little return, however you have a chance to redeem yourselves as a ‘Rock Nite’ is being organised for Saturday July 22nd, with two live bands ‘Garage Dayz’ & ‘Some Daze’ in aide of The Freewheelers EVS.
Don’t forget that we have our social evening on the 21st June at 7:30pm, so don’t forget to book your place with The Troll and make your selection from the menu
Presents two Evenings of music with ‘The Navigators’ on Saturday 24th June... And ‘Celtic Pride’ on Saturday July 8th at Portbury Social Club there is ample parking and a licensed bar. Tickets for both events from Paul 01275 871191.
Also on the 22nd of July is their annual Custom & Classic Bike Show held on Clevedon Sea Front at Salthouse Fields.
