After much discussion amongst the group's members, it has been decided to drop the Annual BikeFest in Weston. This event has struggled to attract significant entries to the Bike Show, and with the V.S.O.C holding their annual rally elsewhere; we would have struggled to attract anyone.
So the W&NS MAG committee would like to thank everyone who has supported this event, especially the V.S.O.C, Freewheelers, Metaldz and of course the MAG members who have given their time to help Marshal, Thanks.
It is our intension now to have a significant MAG presence at the other Bike Shows now being held in and around Weston such as the Van Diemans, WYSIWYG, and the Freewheelers.
Flyers are now available for distribution, and can be found on the W&NS MAG website. Marshals are required on the day so if you can help please let Rog and Lin know.
For those of you who are not attending this rally for the whole weekend, you might be interested in taking a ride up to visit on the Saturday to see how Glos MAG does it. Perhaps you could arrange to meet up and ride up as a group?
Please keep the contact details coming in for Bands, Catering and Trade stalls. It looks like we might have a new catering wagon this year, which is a local concern so fingers crossed.
Fancy a trip to the seaside? Well where the sea is a lot less mud coloured anyway!
Bristol MAG is having a run down to Weymouth on the 29th June, starting from the Mayors Arms at 10am.
They are also doing a run down to the Sprint Races at Weston Zoyland on the 10th May.
Don't forget March 5th is our Business meeting night!
