To Move or Not?

As most of you are aware by now our present landlord at The Bell is leaving, and the new landlord wants to convert The Bell into a restaurant.
Now the Question is; if as is likely we become homeless, where are we to go next?
Or do we just stick it out and hope things turn out OK?
Our group has grown considerably since we moved to The Bell, and this could be put down to the fact we are on a busy trunk route, and attract the attention of passing bikers.
Even when we met in Weston our numbers rarely reached ten or more, I would prefer we don’t go backwards now we are growing, perhaps we should check out the suitability of the other pubs along the A370.
Could we even find another location as good as the present one?

Live Music Evening

The 26th will soon be upon us so make sure you get your tickets for this evening of Rock Music, being held in the Village Hall, Hewish.
Tickets are available from Neal and John at our Wednesday evening meetings or give John a call on: 07917 747 967. Its only £3 in advance or £3.50 on the door.
A hog roast will also be there.

Xmas Do

Thinking caps on everyone, where do we want to go for a seasonal nosh? Anybody been to a descent eatery that’s not too dear? Suggestions to your committee please (sensible ones please, I know what you lot are like).

Bristol MAG Halloween Party

Well what a great night that was, as Bill and Di will confirm the band was most excellent, they just got better as the evening went on, and they may well be worth our checking out for the GWR 2006 Rally.
Quite a few of Bristol’s membership made the effort to dress up for the event, so there were ghosts, ghouls and witch’s aplenty, perhaps more of you might like to go along next year.
